THE HORIZON OF SUNDARBANS
And I kept sailing through the brook of dreams,
Beholding the reflections of the golden whims
On the divine ripples as they wave thru' in joy,
Intriguing my soul as a charming little boy.

I saw and into the yonder horizons of the hazel air,
As the sun danced with shadows upon the river layers,
My breathing silhouette pulled a gust of the calm Sundarbans,
And riveted the eyes deeper into the dense timberlands.

A shadow of the yellow beast was all I craved all the time,
As the leaves thru,' the woods swayed as a golden wind chime.
The curly brook as a damsel's hair ruffled in free air,
As the slow zephyrs kissed the brook with sweet tender care.

Oft in temperate love as a beau of the queen's choice,
The river sang aubades in bliss, and I heard her dulcet voice.
Lo! Hear her tacit moans as she seeks the man of dreams,
And I but felt her warmth beneath the warm sunbeams.

I left unfettered my thoughts as they soared up in the sky,
Beyond the mundane realms of desires haunting by.
I sought lone moments of eternity as the boat sailed thru',
And served good food to my mind as a rarest dream come true.
