A presence steps into the hallway
Of a pulsating and puzzling mind
Likened to a rancorous asylum,
Defined by a multiplicity
Of conflictions and perceptions.
Loosening chaotic knots
Entangled in intricate webs,
Unseen creepers morph
Into the backdrop of shadows,
Entrapping walls cease to compress,
Silence regains sovereignty,
A constricting mind takes breath,
Long enough for calm and order
To take reason in its stride,
Banishing a moment of introspect
Restoring the preexisting atmosphere.
