We stared at each other for so long, glazed brown eyes searching for a half a soul.
Your eyes were always so intense, they had a way of gripping deep into my core.
Oh, I laughed so hard that summer on your best friend patio.
I was counting burning stars beneath my skin, exploding from your sun like touch.
You made my thoughts a storm,
First time I ever felt so dizzy.
First hand that burned my own.
It burned so strong, and for so long,
It carved marks on my palm and-
I remember-everytime I caress another.
You were the first to go.
