My mind kept repeating I'll need more time.
The light in your eyes was so bright.
I felt exposed,without clothes. Not even skin, bearing only my soul, you were able to lock on and get in.
Holding my breath for fear you would take it away.
The bruises left on my thighs, sadly I watch them fade.
Reminding me of you as passion took flight
I go back often to that night
Remembimg you told me how you'd be alright
if we never meet again.
Had me thinking...
well, what will we have to look forward too then.
