Whenever I express love, it rings true,
And when I speak words of hate, that too.
For at times, my hate may overpower,
Yet more often, love blooms, like a flower,
For you.
But what is love without some trace of hate?
And what is hatred without a love-filled state?
Like dark chocolate, you're bittersweet,
Like intoxication, a drug complete.
With you, I'm doomed, yet without, the same fate,
At this crossroad, to be with you or not, I contemplate.
Alas, I've reached a decision, but it's too late,
For you've already let go, sealed my fate.
To me, he said, "Couldn't miss you, never met"
Regretting the chance I didn't get, to say once more
" I love you".
