ASCENSION

Long before,
For long for ages.
I've been waiting,
Patiently for changes.

On Earth I wanted,
Applauds, admiration.
To meet my pride,
In my ascension.

Those below,
And those behind,
And the colleagues,
Way ahead I find.

Still I'm sitting,
In my place.
Could there not be
An ascending bless?

Suddenly in them
A great descend.
Their life lost all it's emblem
Beyond limits of apprehend.

Still I'm sitting
In my place
Could this be
A fortune or bless?
