Just wanted to have a piece
Of what others seem to have
Miss laughing at good stuff
That was within the reach of
My hands
Not going into a sad time
For I am strong
This time is a hard lesson
Read my faith, pray
I know guidance will show up
It will not be too long

We're not all meant
To be carried during a journey
Some us have to walk
It's okay, I figured it out
Along the way
Miss my friends that were in my
phone
I originally had
Now, I back everything in a
Notebook
Hard lesson given
Learned it, but it was bad
When my feet finally
Hit the ground
I plan running fast
Laughing, smiling being loud
We all have tough times
Mine is lasting a bit long
Hard lesson, a hard last

Words are spinning in my head
With music...
I will write a perfect song
Remember, keep faith
God guides you
When days are tough
Unkind people do you wrong
