It took only a second.
Things happened so quick.
The burn in the chest,
throbbing pain in the head.
Suddenly all faded away.
Once a rainbow became a shadow.
All just faded.
Just like a feather in the air,
it just faded away.
The blurry visions so unclear.
Turning to dust seemed like a choice.
The unfamiliar feeling down the gut,
regurgitating up to the throat.
All of a sudden I was gone.
One second I was here, the next I wasn't.
I faded away,
In to the air, in to the unknown...
