Quietly praising,
Gratefully watching,
Right here—I'm drowning,
But you'll never know a thing.

Pick up the pen,
Write something again,
Stare out the windowpane,
Words clashing inside my brain.

But then in vain,
I know that you'll always win.
To not burn in pain,
I've to let go of this thinking.

It'll never be
the same again.
