little birds bring little nibbles of love
head fluffs resembling awe
an eye for my best side
little birds sing a joyous tune
calling out for me
I'm greeted graciously with excited flutters
I'm a landing site
reminding me I'm a gentle giant

little kitty
demanding cuddles
booping working knuckles
implying
please pet me
for I love you so
little kitty bringing warmth to my generally cold soul
little kitty
purrs that calm my nerves
and the cutest mews in response to my bland words

a pets love
bringing light through
showing me there are so many things to look forward to
and reminding me there is a brighter point of view.
