The only way to meet you now
is to see you in my dreams,
Some dreams feel so real
as if you are right beside me.
Never thought a day like this would come
I would lose you to eternity
No matter the distance
I will continue to love you to infinity.
Each day heart feels heavier
Soul feels listless and wandering
Trying to make sense of this void
How to cope up with your absence
Sometimes I feel like running to you
Cross the bridge and step on to your side
But I can't give away my responsibilities and duties
For which this life was gifted by you to me.
