Someone I loved is gone
Their heart stopped beating, their body still
But memories of them stay
Making me happy and sad at the same time

I remember their laughter
Their smile, their voice
It's like they're still with me
But it's just a memory

I wish I could turn back time
Hold them close, talk to them one more time
But life doesn't work that way
Now all I have are tears

Even though they're gone
I won't forget them
I'll hold on to the good times
And keep their memory close to my heart.
