Power that makes the dead rise from their graves
Power that can enter
In my heart
Power that can blow my past apart
There's power in the laying on of hands
Power that makes God's purpose stand
Power in the blood
And all that does
Power in a love
Burning like the sun.
I'm inspired by the words
That Jesus said
I'm saddened
By the reasons
That he bled
I can't help but feel
The hunger in my heart
For learning how to
Make
My life restart.
Awake my soul
From fear that buried me
And hopes
That drowned
In the Disappointment
Sea
Take me Lord
And show me
Who you are
You who spun the planets and tossed the stars
I'm child of Abraham
I am by faith
Come back
And cause
This world to be
Erased.
