Blurry
Blurry Eyes
Blurry Mind
Images flash
static noise,
buzzing loudly to drown out the clicking of clocks.
Time goes by,
slowly during days
between glowing leaves.
Quickly when it's to much to bear during long snowy nights.

To live or to die?
to be killed
by the world or by one's own mind?
Month's passing blurrier by the days,
drawn out by
questions that go unanswered

Blurry
Images mock our existence,
Fast forward
The good days in which the sun warms an icy mind
Pause
The endless nights which our thoughts run rampant with the howling wind.

Days,
Months,
gone
by
since;
The ocean begged you to stay within it's depths,
Drowning out the sounds of  weeping willows sprouting fourth from under that blue sky bridge.

Blurry Eyes
Reflecting street lights against the red blood under your shoes.
Step carefully dear,
loved ones plant roses against cold metal poles.
Witness the water weeping against the stones
of a blood soaked bay.

Tell me;
Did everything
go blurry with the echoing of gunshots against your ears?,
or did reality snap to attention during the final moment's of clarity?

Blurry eyes
create
Blurry minds.
Late nights demanding answers requiring the questioning of
one's own
mortality,
Which is worse?
A fate by design or
one curved
out by our own minds?
