Fake vows, paper rings,
plastic flowers, forehead kiss
It was all just a joke.
A fake 'I love you' and 'I do'
on the day I 'married' you.
None of it was true.
But why did I mean it?
Why did I think that we were legit?
maybe because you made me believe it
even if you knew it was a lie.
now our rings are wet.
they are soaked in my tears and ripped.
you were rejoicing as I wept.

Maybe we should've went to the handcuff booth.
then you would've been stuck to me like I'm now stuck to the truth.
You never loved me.
you never meant anything you said on the marriage booth.
