Unfinished Symphony
Maybe we were meant to be a half written story,
Finished without an ending
A melody incomplete, a song without its glory,
The unwritten chapter, the unanswered letter sending.

Perhaps we were meant to be a thought unfinished,
A dream incomplete, a goal unachieved
Our hearts left untethered, our desires relinquished,
Our love resigned, and our faith sorely deceived.

But we were wronged, we were misled,
Our paths entangled, our souls misread
The vows we made, the promises we said,
Now shattered, forgotten, and left for dead.

Maybe we were always meant to be a symphony,
A melody of life, of struggle, of love and pain
A harmony of emotions, a composition, a fantasy,
A song that lasts forever, in our hearts to remain.

Our lives, just a fleeting moment, a brief melody,
Our eyes, a glimpse of hope, of passion, of fire
Our hearts, a cadence of love, of joy, of ecstasy,
Our souls, a crescendo of dreams, of hope, of desire.

As we stand here, gazing into each other's eyes,
We realize the beauty in our imperfections, our flaws
Our story, our symphony, still in progress, still wise,
A journey of love, of growth, of learning, without pause.

We embrace the unknown, the uncertain, the new,
We dance to the rhythm of life, of love, of happiness
We hold on tight, our hearts beating as one, so true,
We march to the beat of our own grand opus.

Maybe we were never meant to be a half-written story,
We were always meant to be a symphony, grand and true
A song that echoes through the ages, a tale of glory,
A masterpiece, a testament, to me and to you.
