Defying Eternity

Death, you may take my final breath,
But you'll never own my soul's depth.
You may steal my life, but not my pride,
For I'll rage against you, till I die.

Your darkness will not consume my light,
I'll burn with fury, through the endless night.
You may silence my voice, but not my heart,
For it beats with courage, and will never depart.

I'll face your shadow, unafraid and bold,
My spirit unbroken, my will untold.
You may take my body, but not my name,
For I'll live on, in eternal flame.

Death, you're not my master, nor my fate,
I'll defy your power, and create my own state.
You may end my life, but not my legacy,
For I'll leave behind a heritage of bravery.

I'll cherish every moment, every sigh,
And live each day, with a warrior's cry.
You may take my life, but not my soul,
For I'll rise above, and make my spirit whole.
