When the moon light shines bright
on a cold but starry night.
The big red roses lift their head
as all the critters go to bed.
The silver light shines on fresh dew
in the morning they wait for you
sweet fragrance drifting all around
then morning comes their petals lay upon the ground.
the rooster makes its morning sound..
shriveled petals scattered all around.
all that remains of the silent night
is the dewdrops that catch the newly poured sunlight.
