Once lost in sin
She had no peace within
She knew not how to save her weary soul
All she sees in the mirror is condemnation, guilt, pain and fear
Her conscience isn't making it easy either
All she does is live in self pity and shame.

She goes to church one day to hear them sing and pray as usual
The preacher makes a gospel blow
Held fast by sin fetters
Her proud and laughty spirit wouldn't let go easily
But just a glimpse of Him, the power of sin was broken.

Free from bondage,pain and misery
Now her hopes are bright
All she sees in the mirror is a courageous lady
An embodiment of God's love.
