The one I couldn't feel
I think I lost it somewhere but
I don't know where it is;
There's something that I must fulfill
But drive, I couldn't find
There's nothing to look forward to
Don't even want to try;
I went to trace back all my steps
In slow and steady strides,
I must have dropped it somewhere but
It's nowhere in my sight;
I peeked inside my little book,
I poked under a rock,
I entered the deep cold silent lake
But passion, there is not;
I juggle, tumble, crawl and skate
But still I'm not enthused,
No laughter, cackle, giggle, snort
I cannot be amused
Have I left excitement behind?
How far back should I go?
From when did I forget to bring
The passion that I lost?
Now all I do is reminisce
In search for what I had,
For I could not move forward when
My passion is all gone.
