Your rules
I'm scared of them,
your rules,
Each one just
too much for me.

They pile up,
ten weights
upon my chest,
so heavy.

The weight of them,
who could bear?

I loved them once,
your rules,
I wonder if
I still do.

I may, but,
because they hurt,
defensively
I cower
out of habit
out of fear.
