If you're reading my little note,
Please consider what I wrote.

You see I've sprinkled tiny hearts around our city!
Hoping their finders would take pity.

For those who slumber in our streets.
Those too who beg for money, or for something to eat.

You know there's so much that needs to be done.
And quickly! Being homeless is hell not fun!

Aren't you tired of always another excuse!
City officials! That's not right, it's power abuse!

Let's listen now to the homeless voice.
Oh! And to be homeless? It's not a choice!

Shouldn't we all join together, each do our part?
Together we care, we have strength! And yes, we have a heart!
