If I took the time and trouble to create a poem
With meaningful words thoughts and whatnot
I'd make it memorable, known and behold
If only I've been bold enough to say it outloud

My lyrics were always pure, eccentric outsmart
Held allegations, obligations and so-so sorts
Always been one to tither falter freaked out
Made it known heard well told that ears sprout

Never a poet, my thoughts always seized me
Made me one who I am, who I've always been
This be my retort to all you writers out there
Never give up, pave your own way to be seen
