Lost in Transit
Down the black tar,
Keeping a steady pace.
Around you the same car,
White and golden haze.
All lined up on the road,
A monochrome march
as the white river flowed,
past the memory arch.
With a sudden stop,
a distant noise approaches.
Black with no top,
Speeding as it poaches.
White in the sky
like a million doves,
As they fall, hear the cry,
As darkness rains from above.
Clouds cover the land,
And soot covers the tar.
The dark force so grand,
Leaves the mind to char.
