*Are we DATING FOR FUN OR FOR MARRIAGE OR SOMETHING ELSE * thought of asking?????
Like I said earlier it’s a beautiful question.
But a question that can be very harmful if not handled well.
Per my suggestions I think such reasonable question must be asked personally to your own self and the answer generated from within you becomes your mandate in a relationship
Why am I saying this.
If you ask your partner this question. It’s two things.
It’s either he or she lies to you or tell you the truth ...
Which in all ways the answer from your partner won’t be healthy for the relationship... be it a lie or the truth
If your say or answer
That “ you guys are dating for fun “
It’s automatically put a red light on the relationship and like a virus infected into it, it’s going to start to kill TRUST, LOYALTIES, and eventually kill the LOVE in there.
All because both of you now knows you are dating for fun.
If your partner tells you or answer
For Marriage.
Then you would know there is a mandate to do.
And such would introduce into the relationship HYPOCRISY, SECRETS , CANNINESS and all forms of trying to be something you aren’t just because you need to be your best for the partner to marry you.
What ever be the case , Allah knows why he didn’t make us aware of someone’s real intentions towards us.
But he (Allah) has given us the knowledge to reason and see through actions, an idea of someone’s thinking towards us.
It’s up to us to use these wonderful tools to be our best and work towards whatever we went to achieve in life
If you want to marry your current partner, work towards it.
If you want to be in a relationship for fun, you do just that.
Your partners decision would be known to you by the results of works you put in.
If you both work towards marriage, it would happen..
So as if you both are in for fun, you would sooner get tired of eachother and would part ways.
