Market of Jewels
In the heart of Vijayanagara, where splendor entwined,
Stood markets of gold, with treasures refined,
Krishna Devaraya’s realm, with wealth to behold,
A dance of prosperity, in glimmers of gold.

Shimmering necklaces, with intricate design,
Bangles that jingled, like whispers divine,
Traders with smiles, their eyes full of dreams,
Bartered their riches in sunlit beams.

Golden crafts from the skilled artisan's hand,
Ornaments that told of a glorious land,
A tapestry woven with stories of old,
In the bustling bazaars where fortunes unfold.

Silk draped the stalls, a vibrant array,
As merchants proclaimed, “Come, trade and display!”
From distant shores, the finest gold flowed,
An empire of wealth, where prosperity glowed.

Beneath ancient arches, with shadows that play,
The air thick with history, whispering sway,
In Krishna's great markets, where legacies gleam,
Gold was not just currency, but a woven dream.

So let us remember, in the echoes of time,
The splendid tradition, the rhythm, the rhyme,
Of ancient gold markets, where riches took flight,
In the heart of Tuluva, a shimmering light.
