Bitter Reflections of Love
In love's twisted dance, a heart unfolds,
A tale of agony, a story to be told.
In shadows cast by whispered lies,
Hatred blooms beneath love's disguise.
He loved her true, or so he thought,
Yet, in love's name, a venomous plot.
Gossipy tongues wove a web so wide,
Ensnaring hearts on a darkening tide.
She believed the rumors, the venomous words,
A symphony of deceit, where trust is unheard.
He pleaded his innocence, eyes full of pain,
But love's demise danced in the pouring rain.
Lies grew louder, love's whispers drowned,
He withered away, in despair, he found.
Hated to death, by the one he adored,
In love's cruel play, his soul was scored.
Bitter Reflections linger, in sorrow's embrace,
A tragic tale of love's bitter trace.
In the garden of trust, weeds of deceit,
A love story ended, in bitter defeat.
