Walking on a moonlit beach,
On their bare feet, steps in sync;
So close and within reach,
Into soft sand, their toes sink.

Waves whisper as they roll in,
A conversation brief but sweet;
Piercing the night, with vieled joy,
Stolen glances does shyly meet.

Left unspoken, amid the palaver,
Are silent murmurs of the mind.
Kisses held back by pursed lips,
Eyes that see, stay strangely blind.

Their steps along the beach,
Gently washed away by the tide.
Sighs of restless hearts remain,
Back to life, into which they hide.
