THE JOURNEY
Faint heart wins fair lady not,
Many a souls under this sun so hot,
In your journey the catalysts they be,
Pity the ups and downs they tend to be.
Mountains and hills I have crossed,
Ups and downs my encounter,
My sorrows at that point paused,
Hopes so high the plate on the counter.
My closest ones sought my lose,
Their crooked smiley faces so close,
Empty hopes giving with a smirk,
Behind my back they put the mark.
Setting the ladder straight I did,
In a path so full of thorns,
My slippers my closest hid,
Pity my grave they dug with their horns.
God of mercy remembered me,
Pity His favour came with a fee,
My closest this couldn't let go for free,
My downfall their daily plee.
Rising above all I managed,
Hiding my face so bandaged,
This to them caused more pain,
Their jealous faces were not plain.
Alone I struggled so hard,
To rebuild my crown once broken,
Since the crown is now adjusted,
They have crowned me their wanted enemy.
