I write my poetry by the sea
Where peaceful and calm I will be
Alone I sit on the warm sand
Scribbling with a pen on a notepad
Letting my words flow beautifully
As I ink thoughts of my worry
Telling the world my heartfelt story
Watching the children build sandcastles weak
As the tides washes them as they strongly peak
Calmly they build another one
Screaming and laughing just having fun
Inspiring me that my life isn't done
As sunsets in the calm evening
I pack my bag and got going
My head lighter and feeling good
Ready to face life with a positive mood
