the walls open and close
in sequence with my chest
sometimes after my eyes close,
during my night time rest.

sometimes it gets dark
the closer my walls close.
my chest gets extremely tight
and I begin to lose all hope.

my walls often get very tall
I have to look up to see the light
although maybe I get small
I'm sure one of those are right.

what do you do to scream?
how do you make things better?
when my world comes crashing down
we drink and drown together.
