We're born with dreams, but happiness is rare
People scold us, when we show we care
About ourselves, our own hearts' desire
They say we're selfish, and set our souls on fire

But we should be happy, and do what we want
Help others too, but don't forget our own chant
We have one life, no second try
So let's be ourselves, and reach for the sky

Don't worry what others say, just be you
Do what makes you happy, and see it through
You'll be free and happy, with no regrets
Just be yourself, and forget the rest.
