adrift on strange
The Ubik and Michael's Voyage
So the king summons his two captains and his amigo
to search for the diamond book of spells, his only ego
The loving scripture, lurking and tempting any king
By the witchery of an old, remote village of Makiling
To gain power and find the grandest grand
Happiness rules over the landless land
And the anchor digs the ocean floor
Promising hope to explore
Island after island
But no treasure's found
At night, as the moon howls in the cold breeze
The king called his amigo of the seas
poured out two full fermented barley
and drown in liquor carelessly.

Ahoy, me hearties, gather 'round and heed
My tale of verses bound in every creed.
Ubik is my friend, in ink and scroll,
Where words pirouette and souls are told.
Beneath the azure skies of Argentina's shore,
Crimson sunsets kiss the ocean's shore,
Where every whispered line and poetic flight,
Dances through the stars in soft moonlight.

The next day, the captain is quested
To uncloak the city of Mabukid
The anchor digs the ocean floor,
Promising hope to explore
The king was welcomed by Sultan Lampara
Befriends him, their love for the aqua
At night, as the moon crawls for the voyagers
A feast is celebrated by the villagers
The most bountiful harvest is on the table
The king called his amigo of the seas
Poured out three jugs of barley
For the Sultan, for his amigo, and for his belfry
They danced around the campfire
Nakedly drunk and chanting no dire...
"O siyang sinisinta sumayaw ka sa silong ng bughaw na b'wan, umaagos ka sabay sa halimuyak na bulaklak sa 'king mga bisig"

In Egypt's sands, where ancient whispers dwell,
Find Ubik, my friend, in hieroglyphic spell.
Great tales of Cleopatra's reign unfold,
Heralded by poets brave...
