Acquiring a label should not excuse bad behavior. Actions done by agent(s) against your agency projecting their convictions without accountability.
Consequences should be according to what was done or left undone. A society giving labels excusing bad behavior will be a desolation in growth,understanding,and empathy. A slow dark sticky decay of even the most basic moral values.
A society of labels is without civility, unable to create a foundational standard in valuing anything with virtue.
Responsibility is a promise of trust. Accountability is to know if you are trustworthy.
You need both in an always already evolving social construct.
