The door to tomorrow,
Opens in the shadows of today,
So brush aside the path of sorrow,
And make your way

you're stronger than you know
and while you continue to grow
you'll find that life is so simple
you'll find your true glow

at the moment we're strangers
accustomed to what we know
but we can teach lessons
show each other the ropes

I feel when you're staring
I like how that feels
I feel when you admire me
that mutual feeling, I know it's starting to show

I've thought of you as my lover
my best friend and partner
I've thought of us together
-now than just a few times
maybe it's meant to be but when your heart ache is over
