A day came inevitably...
I strolled alone in the lonely path leading to a flowing stream.. I saw "him", a tall strange man, he has a deep blue eye's, a very long curly hair and a crown on top of his head. He wore a long robe and had a sword blet.
Hmmm! by his left was a white horse decorated in royalty
I stood for a while admiring "him", he was indeed handsome, seemingly a prince■■ I do love ''Princes".

Hello! Mistress what are you doing in the lonely path ?
He asked me stretching his hands towards me

Am headed to the stream Sir.
I beamed a smile and held my pot slightly tight

Can I accompany you?

Wow! what an offer, I thought, I wanted to resist but something in me pushed me to accept the offer.

We walked down the path with "him" dragging his horse behind..
I was somehow nervous and I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. Oh! not now

What's your name Mistress?

Oh! am Lya, I only kept mute and continued moving

Nice name, Don't you care to know mine? He asked patting "his" horse

Sorry! my bad, I will like to know yours, I lowered my face

Don't be shy Lya, Am Prince Zek but just call me Zek,
He introduced

Wow! My heart♡ skipped, There was a kind of feeling in me, My stomach looped and I stroke a gaze at "him".

I have always dreamt of being in love with a Prince, What a day! guess the feelings in me was love already Ha! Ha! Ha! I think I love Prince Zek

OK Zek! I smiled, he smiled back and held my hands

Gradually we arrived at the flowing stream, his horse neighed gently guess it needs some water , Prince Zek let go of it and it went closer to the stream to have a drink..
I also brought my pot down and went closer to the stream to fetch some of the flowing water; Zek stood behind and watched me, soon he came to me and tapped me at my back, I became afraid for it was a lonely path and I barely knew "him"

Don't fear Lya, Am not gonna hurt you OK! I do have a surprise for you..

I stood up and watched "him", He arranged a huge stone for me to sit under a shady tree, Awwn! So sweet of "him"

Come my lady, please do have a sit, he said pointing towards the direction of the stone

I walk gently to where the stone was situated and sat without saying a word to "him", watching and expecting "his" surprise for me
suddenly he brought out a golden flute from the pocket of the robe he was putting on and started playing melodiously, he moved his legs to the sound of the flute.
I loved this he did,, I felt warm and tender, I didn't know why, I enjoyed everything happening, guess that was supposed to be the best day of my life... Still enjoying the music before he stopped playing and said to me;

My lady, I have another surprise for you

Wow! Another surprise? well thanks for the first one, I really enjoyed it,, So what's the second one? I asked without hest

it's a question

OK go on! I replied adjusting myself on the stone

What if I die right now, what will you do then?

I was shocked, never expected such question..

Uuuuhm! I don't think you are gonna die, am here with you, so what's gonna kill you? I replied

Ha! Ha! Ha! Well Tendd (his horse) will take you to a place you will love to be, he said politely and I wondered what he meant

Tendd was still having a drink,

Prince Zek was making some practices with his sword and I continued watching him in amazement,

I had some voices coming from the nearby bush, I turned around from where I sat

That's him! kill him! that's him! the voices said, my heart trembled, I called out to Zek but he was too busy, he has distanced himself a bit far from me in his practice.

Tiiiierreeee! That was a bow and arrow sound, Zek was tergeted..

I ran toward Zek's direction to call "him", Tendd noticed the surrounding's and the presence of the unknown persons, it neighed aloud and raised his legs aggressively

Pheeeeeeiiiiiiwww! The sound of the fired arrow towards Zek, it pierced through his back to his chest

Aaaaaah! he shouted, his sword dropped from his hand so as the golden flute

I reached where he was but it was late, Zek was dying slowly...


Noooooo! I shouted in tear, he slumbed and I held him not to reach the soil...

He touched my face that was soaked with tears,

Tendd will take care of you, he said and slipped into my palms the golden flute..

Take her home Tennd and be a good boy, he told Tennd

Please don't die, I said broken heartedly

but gradually he died in my arms.. I left "him" to the soil and looked at his Adorable horse


Get her! Get her! the voices shouted, quickly I jumped on Tennd and it sped off taking me to Zek's kingdom

I turned around and looked at Zek's lifeless body till it was out of sight
