The journey began in 1960
And now we've attained age sixty
Many heroes have come & gone
And many more are yet to be born

Many have contributed their quota
While some have muddied the water
In all these, we are growing stronger
Coz a generation will make it better

Nations may call us black
Their understanding about us is dark
They are yet to get the insight
That we are God's light

God spoke about us in his word
That we are the light of the world
A light that subdues darkness
A light above evil, corruption, greediness

God has blessed us with great material
Together we can build Nigeria
We are a great & mighty nation
Created to do exploits with action

I believe in my country Nigeria..Do you?
