Write a poem about the hardships of trying to achieve something.
The shards pierced her fingers,
Splatters of blood washed out on concrete,
With the splash-splash rivulets of water,
Singing with resigned joy,
Cradled in adoring arms,
With surface as smooth as silk,
It face radiant as ever,
Scant minutes before the great fall,
A misplaced step altered its fate
With batters of its fine innards,
Adorning the marble floors,
On bent knees she tried to gather,
Perhaps the broken parts could be fixed,
But even its symbolism of life and rebirth,
Were cast in shadowed disarray,
As she tried one more time to fix,
The broken parts of the egg.
