another beginning
A chance for new memories
That come after endings

Clouds spiral and scatter
Colors catch my eye
Trees cold and barren
Shriveled and grey
New leaves are forming as Spring makes its way
Laughter on my mind
Dreams in my thoughts
Reaching for the stars in goals that could never be bought
Self reflecting and growth
Taking an oath
Being myself as the wind starts to blow
Petals are drifting
Grass sways in the breeze
Acorns litter the ground from the trees
Excited too see what another day holds
Hopeful of the future and all that's foretold
Inner strength and knowing
Confidence growing
Happy as I can be while I'm slowly transforming
Positive thinking
Helping myself
In the end it's all we've got,
So let's treat ourselves well
