Ivorine
Ivorine, a name that tastes so bitter
A name that brings heartbreak and great woe
It speaks of betrayal and shattered trust
Of deceit and unfaithfulness, it's hard to let go
I thought our love was pure, like ivory white
But you tainted it with your lies and deceit
You took my heart and broke it in two
Leaving me with nothing but pain and defeat
I gave you my all, my love so pure
But you tossed it away without a care
You played with my emotions, like a game
Leaving me feeling lost and full of despair
Ivorine, you represent the disappointment
The disloyalty and the hurt that followed
You discriminated against my love and loyalty
And left me feeling devalued and hollowed
You detached yourself from our love
Leaving me to face the hardship alone
You couldn't see the beauty in our bond
And now our love is like a broken stone
Ivorine, you've divided us apart
Like a curse that I cannot escape
I thought our love was meant to last
But now it feels like a cruel twist of fate
I try to move on, to leave you behind
But the pain lingers like a heavy weight
Ivorine, you've left me with a broken heart
And it's a burden that's hard to abate
Through the discouragement and the heartbreak
I will rise and find my strength within
For I won't let you define me anymore
Ivorine, you won't see me crumble or give in
Ivorine, you may have caused me great woe
But I'll find my way, I'll find my light
And I'll leave you behind, in the past
For I know my future is shining bright.
