Like Tassels, you tied me to the edge of your heart.
I thought you were the missing piece of my life.
But, I didn't realize that to you I was like Tarmac in the mist of Gold, your Gold.
Even when I drew myself into your picture,
you hacked me out to die.
How could I have ever fallen for your sweet lies.
In my eyes, you were just a lost soul, who needed someone to lean on.
But now I realize that, that was a mask to hide your terrible beauty.
You tested my loyalty and took away my royalty.
Now am scattered on the floor like a broken glass,
looking for how to piece myself back together.
I cannot say I hate you.
I admit, I still love you.
For love is blind and only the wise eyes can see properly.
I do not regret my decisions,
for my time in love was not truly wasted.
I learnt though, through heartbreak, that true love is so divine.
It cannot be found in the heart of many but is so looked for by plenty.
I have learnt my lesson.
Indeed, I will never love again.
