And so it seems
that we have found ourselves
in deepest waters

I was never a strong swimmer
but you kept
your eye on me

We are finding the strength
to navigate these uncharted waters
we are learning to tread lightly

we are learning to float

And so it is
that this deep water
once calm, now churns

waves crash upon us

battering us
pushing us
pulling us

down into the dark unknown

We cannot surface and
we cannot breathe

Take hold of my hand baby
and don't let go

we will get through this
