I don't laugh
I don't smile
I don't grin

They think I'm hostile.

I don't love
I don't feel
I don't socialise

They think I'm unreal

I don't laugh at jokes
nothing makes me happy
but somehow my friend's laugh

brings me glee

My best friend
stands alongside me
no matter what

only she speaks to me

because everyone else knows I'm weird
for having problems of my own
they avoid me

but my she is my friend

She knows me for who I am
we share our joy with each other
and never left me

we are good friends

even when I brake down
and when I get angry at her
she knows I don't mean it

and I just want to thank her

for being my inspiration,
my hope,
my friend,
my everything,
through and through
