I've been searching for a home,
Bigger than the one I own.
We've been talking like we do,
Planning like we always knew.

Things are better than we thought,
We haven't had to fight a lot.
Roads are forming for the drive,
And keys are clanging in my mind.

It hasn't happened but it will,
Things will change to fit the bill.
The market place is perfect now,
I've been choosing where and how.

I could hear my children sing,
The moment I removed my ring.
There is twinkle in the rain,
And reason in the dying pain.

The only fear I have in me,
Isn't for the life I see.
My worry isn't for my life,
It's only for the things I liked.

As I struggle to put me first,
In the kindness of this curse,
I am clear and we are strong,
And we are right in all our wrong.

We grew care and self-respect,
After years of self-neglect.
The guilt fee seems unjustified,
But paying seems to be what's right.

The final cut to draw the line,
Remove the power in the time.
Walking slowly to be kind,
But always walking by design.
