Your First Mistake

To the one who was my first who I
thought would be my last
Once was lost in that dance of ours from the past
What was will never be, and what could be will never be is you and me
As you gently finessed your way in my life
you stole what could of been a good wife.
I blame my broken heart on one and that’s you
All because of what you put us through
Forever remember the tears you seen on my face
For us there is no saving grace
Remember I said be careful you'll get the right one
Just look at us now do you see what you've done?
One can go as far as another will allow
Watch me wash you down and throw out the towel
I'm a new woman with a brand new personality
So I forgive you because your brain isn’t to its full capacity
As I see you down the street a block away
Makes me wonder if you ever regretted that long dreadful day.
Unwanted thoughts are creeping in and out my mind
Along with a much needed peace of mind
Your going to wish for how ever long it takes
That this wasn't one of your mistakes
They say, “playas going to play and balla’s going to ball”.
So watch me play you worse then them all
Now look me in my eyes and tell me what you think
