Coconut water kind of day
Don't know what that means
So I can't really say
It's just what I'm drinking
As I write this poem
So here we go
Not sure where my mind will go

I suppose I chose coconut water
As my beverage right now
A tasty alternative to water or milk
It brings to mind a tropical vibe
Which is funny
As I am allergic to the sun

A dreary winter day today
Although it actually makes me happy
Calling upon blankets and pillows
Cuddling with a dog and a cat

Watching the forecast
For any hints of snow
Yes, I'm a weirdo
Leave me alone
Hahaha just kidding
But really.... bring on the snow

The holidays behind us
We still need to choose JOY
Look around, what makes your frown
Turn around?
Fuzzy socks and sweaters
Icicles hanging from the roof
Snowmen and Snowwomen
Coats and mittens
These make me smile

What about you?
My written thoughts began
With coconut water
But what about you?
Let your mind wander
Tell me if you dare!
