Its a circle.
Really,
Its multiple circles.
The inner circle,
That circle is family,
The closest of friends.
Outside of that circle-
That's more friends,
But people who aren't quite as close.
You wouldn't spill your secrets to them.
Beyond them are yet another circle,
This circle is people you see on your daily routes.
Maybe they are the old woman you scan groceries for.
Maybe its the young boy who waits with his father at the bus stop,
But smiles whenever he sees your odd colored car.
Maybe its the cat that comes by to say hello when you enter the office.
These circles of light make up your support.
This room,
This place is bright,
Don't snuff any of your lights.
