The days eventually felt endless,
No sounds but the one of silence,
Nothing had ever been so priceless,
Than all the little things,
Daily and dull activities,
Always taken for granted,
Rapidly and wrongly executed,
But now more than ever wanted,
Expensive rarety...
As in times of natural catastrophe,
We are reminded of our vanity,
That nature always reclaims her rights,
And that time always flies,
Leaving us worthless...
