Two lovers who promise never to leave each other,
A sequel they might gather, while rain scatters,
But lately, it's been one woe after another

is she the antagonist
at feeling abandoned
and seeking attachment
or seeking detachment?

when he chases glory
and forgets her shortly
another comes courting
to pleasure is transporting

but who’s to blame when
he leaves her again
and for herself she fends
to another her body lends

for she is left alone
and he is far from home
for neglect must atone
and another she will moan

to thanklessly return
and angrily he learn
for another she do yearn
at lack of his concern
