They leave too soon,
Like unworthy memories,
They must do,
For me to be at peace.

They stay for a short while
Like borrowed happiness
From the corners of the mind,
Just for it to be put at rest.

They speak too boldly
Of a forever unfounded,
Just to breathe in easily,
Of a love soon to be neglected.
